2008 Appraisals - Do You Need to Contest Your Value?

As you may know, our 2008 tax appraisals have arrived. Even though our market is struggling right now, many of our values have gone up (including mine). If you would like to challenge your appraisal, we would be happy to help. We can pull the comparable sales in your neighborhood for your house. Then you can take that information to the tax office and speak to an appraiser. You must meet with the appraiser by May 31, 2008.

If you would like us to do that for you, we will need the following information:
1. Your name
2. Your address
3. Your neighborhood
4. The square footage of your house (excluding the garage)
5. How much was your 2007 appraisal?
6. How much is your 2008 appraisal?
7. What do you think it should be?

If you will email this information to us, we can email back the comparable sales for your neighborhood. As always, if you ever need any real estate help, Laura & I are happy to help. We are never too busy for any of your family or friends as well.
